Tim Update
Added 2021-02-28 19:11:40 +0000 UTCI (brandon) figured I'd best make this a new update just to make sure everyone sees it!
So tim has gotten in touch with Jaffe and explained he has to step away for personal reasons, but there's no bad blood between us, and if things change over on his end he may be able to come back and would generally be open to it. So for now, we're just wishing him well and hoping for the best, and carrying on over here. I'll admit it's still a bit confusing how this happened this way, but at least we know it's not because of some specific interpersonal problem between us, and that he's open to the idea of returning if things change on his end.
This also does confirm that at least for the time being, he will not be a part of the show, and we don't have any timeline on when that may change, so we're going to go ahead with the plan outlined in the last message and see how it plays out.
Sorry it's still vague, and ultimately this is still a pretty small update, but that's what we've got, and I wanted to let you all know ASAP!
Thanks again for all the support, it's been great to see folks stick around, and even new folks come in because of this - we really appreciate you all, most of all the words of support - we'll keep trying to make the best show we can for everybody!!

Please accept my few bucks a month as a material way of cheering you on as you go.

But I will say these last two weeks episodes with guest panelists have been very enjoyable! Looking forward to the variety these guests add. Thanks for putting on a great show every week!

But he definitely adds a lot of character to the show, his presence will be missed. I'm glad there's no bad blood and that he could eventually return some day. Whatever he might be going through, I hope he's doing as well as he can do. In the meantime, the rotating guest plan in the last update sounds really good and I'm going to continue looking forward to hearing future episodes!
