I know a lot of you are waiting for the alpha food override.

Some time ago I showed you one of the replacements I was working on for this green bottle.

My original plan was to make this bottles set in English, Korean, Japanese, etc and you'd choose which version you wanted to download.

For the bottles it won't be possible. At least not at first.

As you know, the same bottles our Sims use to cook, they also use to make drinks.

Even though there are two versions of the bottle in their catalog, they use the same bottle for both things 🫠???

I tried everything I could to change that. I checked every single code in the drinks recipes, but it seems like the bottle is attached to something that can't be replaced at all. Or it so hiden that not even more experienced modders know how to do it.

The Sims is a not a very mod friendly game...

Well, anyway. I'll have to replace this bottles for neutral ones (that doesn't look like anything at all, just an alpha bottle). This was going to be one of the options, but by now it's the only option.

You've probably seen cc food creators that post recipes that use custom ingredientes.

This is what I'll try to make: custom ingredients.

But, for this to work, I'll literally have to replace all recipes of the game 😅

TO MAKE IT SHORT:

1- The game bottles will be replaced for neutral ones. Otherwise when your Sim make a drink, or you cook a custom recipe by another creator, the bottle will look weird/not match the recipe/drink.

2- You're going to have realistic bottles to cook. But I'll have to replace every single one of the recipes. This will be done little by little.

For example: when I replace the ramen bowls for alpha versions, I'll also replace the recipe. So you'll have custom ramen bowls and recipes.

3- As far as I know, this issue is only with the bottles. The other ingredientes can be replaced normally :)

Sorry for the giant and confusing explanation 😅 But I had to let you know why you'll be getting neutral bottles replacements at first.
