Mid-Month Update
Added 2022-04-16 00:06:01 +0000 UTCEvening all, here with a short mid-month update! First, as you can see above, the art assets for the Vox character portraits have now been delivered! Coloring is again preliminary, and does not match the final in-game appearance. Development wise things are pretty straightforward, I've spent the entire month so far doing the 'data entry' work of setting up the romance positions and actions, which I have now completed. I still have the remaining things on my Romance Scene to-do list:
- Set up the special-case functionality for the 'Solo' position.
- Implement NPC initiative when it comes to requesting or taking new positions.
- Writing up a bunch of new flavor text for actions and events.
It's difficult to say exactly how long that will take, particularly the last bit, but I do expect to have fully finished this section by the end of the month and begun to move on to other required bits of functionality. It's quite likely I'll come back and add additional flavor text at a later stage of development, but I'll hopefully be able to get in enough now to at least keep things marginally interesting. Not much else to report on at the moment, so I'll see you again in a few weeks!
