There’s a podcast with Ken Plume and Doc Hammer that came out in February where they talk about how Doc got paralyzed around the time this was airing, and he spent most of 2019 literally teaching himself how to walk again. 2019 was apparently a hard year for them because of money issues and Doc relearning how to walk, but they’re writing season 8 now! I also read in an interview like a year ago that apparently season 8 is harder to write because they’re “going for something special” with it’s story structure, which almost sounds like it’s going nonlinear to me.

Hearing Matt moved to LA the same time I moved to LA (and the US) just made me fall over backwards. Also, here's my guess about how this whole 'new onslaught of animation' will play out, in my opinion: they're gonna do it until, a year or so from now, it becomes less of an insurance hassle to do live action shoots, and eventually they'll just go back to mostly ignoring animation. Either way, I've come around on the season 7 openers since watching them. I remember being angry that it wasn't as structurally perfect as All This and Guargantua-2 but honestly I'm glad they tried something different. Anyway, excited for this season of the podcast!
