050 - Pomp and Circuitry

Comments

Congrats on 50 eps, boys! I'm on vacation out of the US, so I watched the next few eps since I wouldn't have Hulu access. I definitely think Pomp and Circuitry was the weaker of the three, if only because it seemed to get so bogged down in plot with the whole Phantom Limb ordeal, a character I think I still don't really care about? As for the Zeus episode, I thought that was a masterful use of continuity the way only Venture Bros knows how to do, with a very clever twist on the 'everybody puts their differences aside' plotline. Finally, Everybody Comes to Hank's was just so great, and I'm not saying that cause I'm a nut for detective episodes. The only complaint I have is that Dermott's sister came out of nowhere, so for a while I was wondering what her age was supposed to be, which I guess it's kinda the point. I can't wait to hear you two dissect those episodes!

This is the first time that I got the Diamond Dogs reference.
