034 - What Goes Down Must Come Up

This week on [the deep end] of The Venture Bros., Matt and Steve discuss What Goes Down Must Come Up!

To get the feed on your podcast device, just check the main [the deep end] Patreon page and there should be an RSS link at the top right. Just plug that into whatever app you use and it should populate immediately.

Don't forget to subscribe to the main show and share the Patreon on social media and with whomever you may see today. Even strangers! Print out little cards with the URL and just hand them out at your school, work, church, or any other gathering place you frequent. If you see an unattended phone anywhere, just grab it and subscribe to the podcast on it. They'll appreciate it! Just don't let them see you do it.

Comments

Finally getting round to this episode. Hank Pym is my favorite Marvel char, so of course I was hugely attached to Dr. Entmann/Humongoloid for his very few appearances. Also, thanks for reminding me that I need to freeze frame the VH1 stuff because I would never have spotted Booji Boy (pronounced "boogie boy" for the record)

Zachary Adams

Go FVR: The shot of the missile falling to the side and breaking was the funniest shit I have ever seen. As was MUTHER's resigned 'oh, okay'. And Pete White drinking a martini as he awaited the apocalypse- that man is my entire aesthetic.

Michel Lichand Mendonça

It's probably both. Jonas used it and Pete has the audio tech know-how to identify it. I like how his audio tech nerdness ties in with him being a super computer technician.

This is the first time that I looked up what a scopitone was after Pete saying that’s what the Jonas recordings were on. Does Pete just call it that because of his music background, or is this actually the tech that all of the old Jonas recordings are on?
