This episode of VB really pushed it into the top tier zone for me.

Go FVR: This episode was amazing. I am flabbergasted by just how good it was. First, you got the whole stuff with Dr. Venture's character, which has been much needed for a while now and really solidified him in my head as this tragic figure who's really broken inside. Second, it completely redeemed Killinger in my head, turning him into probably one of the best episode villains of the series so far. Third, it showed what the Venture compound/company could really do and it expertly pulled on its cast of side characters to paint a picture of what could have been a major status quo change (if this was the season 3 premiere, I would have been pretty damn certain that this was the path the show was going to take from now on)- and the return of characters like my beloved Pete White certainly didn't help. Fourth, it pushed Orpheus to the role of the protagonist in a way that he hasn't for a while now, and you all know me and how much I love our dear O. Fifth and finally, holy shit was this packed wall to wall with jokes, from the fake tour to the way Killinger was raising the kids to Orpheus trying to mount an attack on Killinger to what is my favorite line of the episode: "your powers are useless on me, you silly billy". I know they reversed the status quo changes by the end, but holy shit was this an essential episode. We out here playing checkers, but Venture Bros is playing chess. Four dimensional chess!
