Go FVR! This episode was... fine. It was fine. It was fine, ok? Fine. Just fine. I don't know, there wasn't much that got my attention, apart from the kickass way Brock defeated Myra (it was legitimately badass) and the somewhat icky jokes regarding Myra's situation. I kinda found myself thinking about how the only other animated portrayal of Henry Kissinger I've seen was on Pinky and the Brain, and how... strange this one portrayal was. Like... what is his deal? Is he Mary Poppins? Or Hitch? I don't know. Certainly didn't expect myself to start thinking about animated portrayals of quasi-war criminals in the middle of an episode about Dr. Venture being haunted by an oni. The stuff with Brock and HELPER was the best, and the part where they talk about Maya Angelou was probably the funniest part of the entire episode, but other than that, I wanna see how long it'll take until the boys figure out the whole cloning aspect of things. Not bad, but certainly not my least favorite of the season so far (that honor still belongs to Assassinanny 911, which I realize I didn't post a FVR for, but now you know it). I think Season 2 so far has higher highs than Season 1, but also lower lows.
