Good episode as always. It was really interesting to hear you point out what an important episode this was with, so many first appearances of characters who would become so important to the Venture Bros, as I'd never thought of it that way before.

I want you to know that we love reading this every week and are so glad that you and others are discovering this show for the first time with us!

Go First Viewing Report! God, give me the strength of these writers who deal a first season like they're in the third or fourth. This is amazing. I loved this episode! The only thing that felt iffy to me was Billy, if only because his design brought to mind images of other cartoons making these characters whose only jokes were that they looked different. But everything else was great! I'm so happy Dr. Orpheus and Triana returned and I'm falling in love more and more with this show. It's like discovering a very expansive comic book series and falling in love with it for the first time. "A little bird told me, but don't blame Tiny Eagle" made me cackle. The thing that shocked me the most is that there wasn't like a real conflict in the entire episode, and the only real drama was because of the Monarch wanting to go to the bathroom- yet there was more development and drama than in an entire season of your random TV show. In fact, I counted like four character arcs through the whole thing! It was insane. P.S.: Mr. White is a total good-looker.
