Can't really fuck with dude's voice, I'm afraid. πΏπΏ.π/π Awesome episode though!!! Krista is hilarious, loved hearing you guys reminisce. For me personally my big problem is I go back and listen to/watch/play something that changed my life as a kid and realize it was a steaming pile of dogshit today and it makes me question my overall opinion.

2024-05-16 14:26:37 +0000 UTCCommie winna tra-da waaake her up!! Automatic for the People is right in my wheelhouse: jangly guitars, unique voice and happy sounding songs with sad or strange lyrics. Sidewinder, Man on the Moon and Monty got a Raw Deal are the three stand-outs for me but I got along really well with the whole album. I added the rest of REMβs discography to my to-listen list, too. (Itβll be a while though.) Some other thoughts: 1) I know heβs not the focus of this ep but oddly, this went up on the anniversary of Andy Kaufmanβs death - spooooky!! 2) my mom always sings along to Orange Crush and the One I Love when itβs on the radio so back when REM was breaking up I was like βhey did you hear?β And she said βI donβt like REMβ LOL 4) Montgomery Clift will returnβ¦ when we get to London Calling (whenever that may be) 3) Krista is a joy, welcome back!!
