Love the tuba! We'll hear more of it on Lou Reed's Transformer

I’ve lived in NJ my whole life and yeah I don’t get it either lol. It’s not bad, just fine. Rosalita is a badass song though. Oh and that Carole King song was really great. 2.5/5 for the album

The Boss and Mega64 is the crossover I never knew I needed. I’m from Philly so he definitely has a regional appeal. But I also think his appeal is because his records span so many styles & genres. He made a point to not get typecast by pushing himself with each album. He also has such a huge catalog, if you’re a longtime fan you have a lot to choose from. I hope more of his records come up soon,I’m really excited for you to hear them!

I really like when snippets of the songs are played during the show. I have trouble remembering what the songs sound like based on the names alone.

This dude's lyricism is kinda crazy... Not gonna lie, Bruce Springsteen was kinda born on the cob-- like his music is CORNY, but I find it near impossible not to smile listening to this fucking guy. and I'm a Canadian in my mid-20s I have zero connection to anything he's talking about lol, but he paints a vivid picture. 💿💿.𝟐𝟓/𝟓

My husband is a south Jersey native and when I told him my opinions on this record he said ‘be careful, because if you said that in NJ you’d get shot.’ Basically echoes what Johnny said lol So as delicately as I can, the music and the storytelling? Great. Very evocative lyrics, the band sounds incredible and I could get behind seeing them live in their heyday - it would have been cool to see Clarence Clemons perform in-person from both a music and Bill and Ted fan standpoint. The Boss as a person, according to all I’ve read, seems like a great guy. Thoughtful, charitable, all that… But his voice solo does not appeal to my ears. When the E Street Band is singing with him or instead, I’m into it! That fake-out at the end of E Street Shuffle with the really funky outro was the absolute best part of the album. I listened to that last minute over and over. Kitty and Rosalita were the other big hits for me, while Sandy’s story, yeah, reminded me of going to the Ocean City Boardwalk with Steve.
