New Reward Suggestions + Some personal updates on my life/mental health
Added 2021-08-05 11:56:18 +0000 UTCHello, all! As you're all aware, it's been tough to keep up with frequent updates (or at least update as much as I'd want to) on this page. I'm still able to give my plans and give out free song downloads/backing tracks no problem, but things like announcing plans are a bit tougher because of commissions, personal issues, etc clouding my brain. I usually don't have an idea until as late as a thursday night (giving me only a day and a half to make a whole song and video).
Breaking the "professionalism" for a moment, it's been very hard to stay updated and focused and I just never find the proper time to take time for myself. Things have been rough for quite awhile now and it makes it very hard to maintain this and other aspects of life.
SO this is where I feel some changes may be good. I would still like to add tabs when I can, but they are INCREDIBLY time consuming and hard to do every month with everything going on. Sometimes I can't even deliver one because I'll have no guitar songs made that month (I could try a past song, but it seems the most popular ones have been done and I wasn't sure if anyone would want ones that are way less known/enjoyable. But even so, they can still be absolutely mind melting to put together).
TLDR ; Give me some suggestions for rewards in the comments below. Whether you're a patron or not. I want to see what is managable and I feel like you guys deserve way more than I offer you. You are the reason I can even do what I do and I want you to know I'm very thankful for that every single day. I wish I could always deliver, but I know I haven't been in the proper headspace for a long time, especially with all of this music work I have.

We are not the ones you need to reward. It's rewarding enough being in the community and listening to all the music, seeing all the art. You need to reward yourself. Give yourself a little space, some time to work through some things. It sounds like you've been really busy this year, and that's good! But it also sounds like it's been hard to take care of yourself with everything that's been going on. If you can, find some way to get in the right headspace, but even if you can't, you're awesome anyway, and the music you make is still as great as ever, if not better!
