Why advance billing for Patreon?

After talking with a few people and getting their feedback on the tiers, and their experience with Patreon and supporters I thought I would nip one issue ahead of time.
I was told by more then a few people, how others would sign up to someone's Patreon, be able to get the content but then cancel right before the billing date. Meaning that they could download the creator's music, look at Patreon only post, artwork, ECT, without paying.
Since Random Scribbles has options to vote on what Alpha and I work on, this wouldn't be fair since they could vote on what I work on, or possibly get free art work from Alpha.
Never mind people trying to get free access to everything down the road.
I know this means fewer people might sign up to support Random Scribbles at first, but I'm here for the long haul and not a quick cash grab. :P
