2025-03-24 23:34:42 +0000 UTCGot both the beta and stable. Beta went down earlier. Was watching on stable. Clicked on next video and that’s gone down. Can’t change the engine now. Stuck on cronet. Tried everything. Resorted to duckduckgo YouTube on pc. Baffled why it works then just stops.

2025-03-09 18:40:52 +0000 UTCI just saw an issue about "DRM" in the "issues" forum -- yesterday, the "YouTube downloader" programs I use both failed to download ANYTHING -- "This video is DRM protected." These were NOT "members only" or "age restricted" videos or anything like that -- just absolutely normal, every-day YouTube videos. For whatever that's worth, and I hope this perspective helps. Otherwise, it just feels like the "noose" is tightening on everything I do with YouTube -- every time I turn around, I'm blocked one way or another. Very frustrating.
