2025-03-02 20:41:56 +0000 UTCHey, there is a small bug where the loading circle doesnt dissapear when the video is loaded and playing on the fire tv stick. I have to close the app and open it again for the loading circle to dissapear. It‘s just a small bug which happens not so often but maybe you can look at it if you have time for it. Anyways its an awesome app! Tyvm for making the youtube expirience so so much better!

2025-02-26 02:06:44 +0000 UTCGot some tiny and unimportant bugs now.. They don't really impact the experience, they just start to grate and annoy me after a while. Especially when ganging up on me. The brackets contain the felt frequency of occurrence, given the daily use of about 10 - 12h, maybe 4h of it actively watching non-musical content. 1) accessing the channel via the player instantly but randomly sends me back to the home screen; app still running. First only chosen from home screen channels, now from within the app too. Feels more like an ATV Bridge or integration issue than a problem with SmartTube though. (≈15%) 2) After installing every update, re-unlocking of options "video formats", "DRC Audio" and "High Bitrate Video" in the Dev Settings is required. (100%) 3) player randomly fails to continue playback queue, esp. when more extensive. (≈5%) 4) random and fatal crashes on input "Enter" with OEM RC, mainly when choosing videos to "play next" not "Add to queue". (≈1%) 5) "Not able to open playlist via channel page" issue reoccurring sporadically. If you don't want any bug report comments on your patreon, please say so. Your reaction, no matter how, means that message has already done its job – bringing several minor issues to your attention, so I'd have no problem deleting it. 😁
