SoVR v0.36 accessible to the $5 tier (+ some info)

Hello everyone,

I extended a bit the duration of the $10 exclusivity since I'm hoping for the release of the next version at the end of this month (meaning 6 weeks after the previous release, hence why I waited 3 weeks to change the tier access.) As written above, the last version is now accessible to the $5 tier.

Now I want to mention a thing or two about the coming update.

It's extremely hard to mentally rewrite your brain after you've taken a sudden decision like the one I took recently. Deciding to release the full game with only Yuki and Ayame as post-game characters changes a lot of things in how the game should work and my different possibilities. But since I've written things in a certain way for more than a year, I don't fully realize yet the new opportunities I have.

As such, I'm currently reworking one of Ayame's main quest to change it into something that is more a mix of her original one and something that was supposed to happen MUCH later in the development. I'm still mentally constrained by a sort of muscle memory and I'm trying to slowly escape it by forcing situations I hadn't planned at all only to realize that they can actually work.

In simple words, while I'm currently working on adding Ayame's debut in the next content, don't expect to see the beginning of her second main quest in it. For now, I'm focusing on the other one which is MUCH more straight forward and doesn't need any kind of change.

At the time I'm writing this, there's no certainty Ayame will have an H scene, but if I want to be perfectly honest, it probably won't be the case. I'll explain it in another post but we need to work other things first (notably her menu sprite, her faceset tweaking and design choices because she'll wear a new outfit during one of her quests.) And even with that out of the way, there's something we've been postponing for a long time: liquids. If you're wondering why some scenes seem to have the proper elements ready but no scenes linked to it, it's 90% of the time because of the liquids. They require a lot of time and no one but Peak can do them. So once he'll be finished with Ayame preparative work, he'll work on that (and I have no idea how long it'll take.) And once he's finished, even if by miracle we still have the time to make an extra full scene before the next release, I asked for the last Akiko scenes to be able to do everything concerning her content.

So yeah, Ayame probably won't have a single scene in that update. But at least, you'll be able to play with her. I'll detail everything about her first quest on another post.
