BEHIND THE CREATION OF MEILO

One of the entries I was excited to type! so let's go!

Meilo was created on March 07 of 2021 one saturday night when the old group were chillin until one of my friends decided to make gender bents of our ocs thus Meilo was born.

So he was pretty much created as a joke character, a one day thing... but I made art of him myself and posted it on twitter and it got good reception so I decided to continue making art of him for a while. He was still just a gender bent of Meili, so there is this "weird" piece I made of them getting it on, now days it would be seen as incest, but back then the main intention was "selfcest" since it was not establisehd that they're twins:

That's the piece that gor my followers excited and the only one of Meili and Meilo together. NOW THIS IS NOT OK!! 

Some friends used to poke fun at the fac that he looks like Bradly Uppercrusts from "Extremly Goofy" 

The Meilo content went on for a while until a couple of our "friends" got jealous of the amount of love Meilo was getting that they decided to make horrible rumors about me.

The owner of this oc, who was dating Meili like I mentined in the previous entry, is the one who got the most jealous of Meilo, cause pretty much Meilo is the reason why I stopped drawing content of Meili and this asshole. I short words, he took it way too personal 

So when Meilo turned one year I poked fun at the situation the only way Venomsquid knows how 

Did they ever see those? I don't know, I hope they did.

Now let's go talk about the character a bit.

Before Pandxz, Meilo was a college drop out, and a mechanic, he used to work at a workshop in Panda city, Canada, he liked it but his real passion was music, that's why he decided to form the band that we know: PandXz!

I don't remember exactly when I established that him and Meili are twins, but yeah, they are twins! 

Also he is dating satsu, but we'll talk about that in Satsu's entry, but you can have this pic for now! 

THE PANDXZ ERA:

Let's quote the lore:

"College drop out, "bad influence" the big bad panda, whatever you wanna call him, he always wanted to be the leader of his own music band! Achieving that dream wasnj't an easy task, he has a complicated childhood since he had to live with his dad after the divorce, his father never took care of him properly, sure he made sure he never starved but that means nothing when there's no love. After dropping out of college he started at a workshop as a car mechanic, until one day he decided it was time to follow his dreams, spending his free time writing lyrics and searching for people to be interested in joining his project"

Now it's thanks to him that I decided to make a band for these characters, it was meant to be a one time thing as always, but as everything I make, it just sticks! And now this is the canon lore. I was listening to the song "ALIENS" by Auntum Kings was what convinced me to do this, cause I imagined them performing the son on a stage! 

Overall, his desing hasn't changed at all, I just gave him a more casual outfit for "comfy" drawings 

He doesn't have much protagonism in my drawing cause obviously, it's the girls who take all the spotlight cause that's the audience I built, but he still is cool af. The fact that he got people mad just for existing is enough for me to love him forever. Even tho he is not 100% my creation, I have developted him enough to call him mine, and my friend who pretty much created him supports that and she's happy to see how far he's come.
