The Pause Continues

I literally don't have the words to express how much I'm ready for this new home to be set up and finished. Somehow my office is on the same circuit as the kitchen, where the contractors keep having to shut off the power as they work.

I want to apologize again for this pause, and thank you all for putting up with it. So much work goes into getting into a new house, and since I'm helping a family member with dementia, there are a lot of problems I keep having to find solutions for--things I thought I'd never have to deal with since I never planned on buying a home.
I want to remind everyone that I welcome feedback, suggestions, and requests for stories/continuations; it all shapes how I move forward. I make note of it wherever I see it, but I especially welcome emails at nicky.noxville@gmail.com

Please take it easy and be gentle with yourself! These things can be so much harder than they seem at first, you just have to eat the elephant one bite at a time, you will get there in the end! PS. I work in construction and have helped a lot of friends with their new houses, which always give them years of hassle, pm me if there's any contractor/construction advice you might want a second opinion about and I will try and help!
