Tis The Season, RH Patrons!

All the patrons in the house say yay-uh! Now all the patrons in the house say your full credit card number and security code on the back, because it's Christmas and Raven Mage could use the extra gift budget (Just kidding, probably, most likely).

Alright so spooky season, turkey season, and that's it for the year, right? Oh right, yeah, that obscure holiday called Christmas! And the major ones like Hannukah and Kwanzaa and Boxing Day, Happy Holidays to all and to all MORE HANDHELDS.

Anyway, Stubbs and Damien continue to come at ya with (mostly) weekly news segments. The channel has been growing and is abuzz with the excitement of new devices as usual, with recent releases from Anbernic like the RG505 and 35XX, as well as perhaps soon some Retroid Pocket 3+ coverage as those start to reach our team. We're very excited for the kind of performance we're seeing in the budget category lately, with both affordable powerhouses and extra-affordable devices that make for perfect gifts this Holiday season.

Rapid99, as usual, continues to be the stalwart and steadfast defender of the realm of GOTX, braving the many battles and scuffles of shilling and complaining amongst the common folk to bring us the very best Game of the Month and Game of the Week content on a regular basis. This month you still have time to participate, just beat Enduro, Banjo Kazooie, or Klonoa: Empire of Dreams on your favorite handheld of choice and ping Rapid in the Game of the Month Channel to receive super-stupendous RH points toward cool merch like "The Bag." In addition to the standard fare, right now you also have the opportunity to vote for Game of the Year, where we pit the best games we've played in 2022 against each other to declare the Ultimate Retro Experience, and earn points for an extra completion of that game in 2023.

Lastly, I'd just like to remind you of the written reviews over at https://retro-handhelds.com. Our monkey chained to a typewriter is soon to be releasing more words that form sentences that form reviews and impressions of the latest and greatest retro handhelds to hit the market, so stay tuned for that. Or don't, you know, you don't have to, but you'll be missing out.

So, we're going to wrap up this update just like you should be wrapping up those presents before Jolly ol Saint Nick comes and commits several trespassing and breaking & entering offenses in just a couple short weeks. Remember to teach your children that property crimes are okay as long as you leave behind a nicely wrapped gift for a child (we are not lawyers though, so be sure to check with yours first).
