It has always confused me because ALL the other props in the series are so real looking, but I've decided they made it to be just a thing she wears to appear to have something other than a stump because she is obviously not wealthy and probably didn't have the ability to have one better.

2023-01-23 21:40:28 +0000 UTCUsually its only the cellphones that date this show to 2006 (even the cars and computers don't too badly, except nobody uses lockscreens on anything) but the tv they used at the crime scene was such a dated thing! I agree, they would definitely take the tape back to the precinct to watch it. And its VHS, another dated thing. But mostly the show feels very current as far as clothing, etc. And once they get up to iphones in the later seasons that changed too. In season 2 they actually use flashdrives, even in 2007
