Coming Soon - Tortles Kickstarter

Hey everyone! Hope you're all enjoying the Easter holidays.

I'm going to tak this opportunity to announce our next Kickstarter/Campaign. It's been talked about a few times but we've had the go ahead to launch when we want.

The campaign being simply 'Tortles'!

The campaign aims to be very similar to that of our Dwarves campaign in terms of size/scope however with game ready sizing from the get go and with the updated delivery schemes we currently utilise.

I'm also going to take this opportunity to answer a few questions regarding it.

Q. Will there be any unique models via the campaign that patrons cannot aquire?
A. The full roster has not yet been finalised and the intent as usual is to release everything on patreon overtime. However we do reserve the right to offer an exclusive model to those who support us on Patreon AND the KS campaign like we did with the Dwarven Bannerman.

Q. What models will be available via the campaign?
A. There will be a core set models, similar in size to what we initially delivered during the Dwarves campaign. Like the Dwarves campaign we'll have a similar number of Stretch goals to fill out the Tortle roster. The core set will be mostly whats been released via patreon with some new upcoming models whilst the stretch goals are all new.

Q. Will there be any physical tiers?
A. We're looking into growing our print farm temporarily to accomodate a physical tier set alongside our other printing commitments, not fully decided yet but hopeful. The main problem is sourcing consistant resin for a good price, often the same brand/type of resin sometimes has colour variations. We've ordered grey resins in the past which are grey, but the same type has sometimes had a blue tint to it. Consistancy is pretty important for us, although we could concede this as an unavoidable risk... We'll see.

Q. Will there be a lifetime merchant tier for the Tortles?
A. Yes we will have a limited amount of spots for a lifetime merchant tier for the Tortles made available via the campaign only. The license is meant for businesses earning less than $100k annually.

Q. Will there be un-supported as well as supported tiers?
A. No, this time around, unlike the Shroomie Invasion campaign, we'll only be offering the one digital tier. This tier will be cheaper than the top digital tier of the Shroomie campaign, so the value will be awesome.

Q. Will there be a free sample model to download?
A. Yes indeed.

Q. How will assets be delivered?
A. We will deliver digital items via MMF, Dropbox, Gumroad and Sync, giving people plenty of choice as well as a back-up if one system happens to go down etc... We're also reaching out to see if we can lauch a campaign simultaneously on MMF and Kickstarter.

Q. When is the campaign launching?
A. No hard date yet, that will ultimately be decided by some ongoing conversations regarding delivery and tier design, we're hoping to launch in May.
