I think they just wanted to do another film tribute with that concept and title. It’s taken from the 1992 movie ‘The Last Of The Mohicans’. But as you said, poorly done because they’re only working within one expanse of land. But you know what Rob’s like. He loves his movie tributes and rip-offs.

I am glad you enjoyed this one, even though I usually think of it as one of the lowest episodes. If SHOULDN'T have been, what with old home week are everything, but the casual "let's hug it out" after the, y'know, GENOCIDE is kind of tough to swallow. This could have been mostly avoided by having the Centaurs die in a battle, but that isn't what they chose. That really doesn't work. It's still good to see Ephiny again, to catch up with Xenan, and even meet Borias' other son. However, there is no flipping way that these are the "last of the Centaurs." That would make no sense. Since when do all the Centaurs in the world live within a three block radius of each other? They didn't, and don't. They live all over the place. They are not almost extinct, or even close to it. Because that would be stupid. (Xenan's cousin, Kefor, for example, is probably fine.)
