Writing Update
Added 2020-03-20 23:07:50 +0000 UTCI know it's been a bit since the last chapter and I wanted to make sure everyone knew I hadn't ghosted. There is going to be a major rework of Playing by Ear coming up pretty soon. Normally I outline pretty heavily so this isn't an issue and the only updates are minor, but this time the changes are going to require actual re-writing. I'll post up when those already posted chapters have updated.
New stuff is still coming though. A new chapter of the Taylor book is coming up soon, probably early next week.

A few things. The main characters closer to Caspian from the Destiny series then I wanted so I need to redo parts of his characterization. He needs to fall somewhere between how sure Taylor is of himself and how insecure Caspian was. I just missed the balance. The other big issue is the pacing is coming off wrong. Some of the relationships are advancing quicker then they should. Also I've been working on ideas for later books in this series and it requires one of the supporting cast to be retooled. That last part I'd normally just write around, but since I need to change stuff for pacing and characterization, I'm going to adjust that as well. Basically, I outlined it but then started writing myself in directions away from the original outline to the point where I can see the wheels coming off by the mid point of the book.
