It was written by Stephen Moffat, if you see his name in the writing credits then you know you are in for a good time. Don't worry too much about spoiling yourself on Torchwood, for all you know he's in a brief flashback scene and that's it. That being said, it's probably for the best not to look up familiar faces when it comes to this show. Sometimes there can be a surprise reappearance now and then. We can help you out in the comments if you aren't sure. Looking forward to the next two episodes.
