"Obsidian For Learning" Vault Zip

(What's this? Watch the video here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/138962289)

You'll have questions, ask away (after watching the video, of course!), and I'll answer everything in the comments here, and update the vault for when we find mistakes!

I've been searching everywhere but couldn't find a resource on it, how did you create the bookmarks for the command URIs? Whatever I try I can only ever do search terms/files/headings etc. not arbitrary URLs/URIs...

I couldn't understand it at all. How do I use it? I am new to obsidian, have been using default files and folders just for making notes.

I'm afraid you've not missed anything - the spaced repetition contract is something I'm going to go into detail about in part 2, and no doubt I'll make more changes to the vault as I write it. The tldr is quite simple though - you set up the SR plugin on #fleeting notes, and then review all notes with that tag. Stay tuned! And thank you for your patience, I had hoped to do it all in one video, but after 17 minutes on just part 1, I realised it was not to be 😅

Am I missing something, or is spaced repetition not being used in this vault? I was interested in seeing how your "temporal contract" was set up.

UPDATE: Fixed 'toal' -> 'total' typo in projects query (thanks David!)

Thank you so much for spotting that, David! I've fixed and reuploaded the zip :-)

Hello, I have noticed a small typo. In the dataview code for the projects dashboard we have ``` ... FLATTEN ( length(filter(file.tasks.completed, (t) => t = true)) / length(file.tasks.toal) * 100 ) as "Progress" ... ``` I believe this should be total. Very minor but it stops the progress from incrementing

Hi Yakiv! No, not yet, but great minds thing alike: I'm planning to do a deep dive patron livestream on my whole obsidian process (and 80 plugins!) very soon! You'll be the first to hear, right on my patreon :h)

Thank you so much! Though I don't use Zotero myself, I know many people swear by it. This plugin has 400k downloads, maybe it'll work for you! obsidian://show-plugin?id=obsidian-zotero-desktop-connector Note that, for me, Readwise (especially with) Reader isn't really a source manager, it's a place I read all of my books and articles, and highlights gets perfectly synced into obsidian, ready for processing into my own thoughts. FromSergio has a great video on readwise and obsidian here, I use this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH84CsBViOs

Hello! I've been enjoying making this Vault my own, there's some fantastic philosophy holding it all up that I've never even considered before. One question I do have is: How would I go about implementing a different source manager (in my case Zotero) instead of Readwise? While I've strongly considered making the switch, habits die hard. So my question is: Which Readwise integration can I replace here without breaking anything too important? Thank you, and thank you for making this in the first place!

Hello, is there any live stream or video where you create notes on the go ?

UPDATE: Vault zip updated with two small bugfixes: 1. Project next action query now correctly ignores the templates folder 2. LanguageTool now uses the public api, not localhost (which means it'll work!)
