Wow, I am happy for you, Jane. Well done. Thanks a lot for your kind words! More stuff is coming soon, hehe. Have a lovely Sunday.

Marco, I've been working on this song for a few weeks and I've about got it!!! I am so thankful I found your lessons. The songs you teach sort of build on each other, and I thank you for teaching us to use the entire fretboard to play these beautiful songs! :)

Banjo Jane

Good question. I think the notes are the same. But for the tutorial, I wanted to keep the same phrase in the same position since it was easier to visualize/play. The phrase you have in the instrumental is a little bit more challenging since it moves up the neck. I hope it makes sense. :)

Hi Marco, I have enjoyed getting up to speed..or trying to...with this, it is very nice but a problem. In your intro piece you move up the A string after bar 34. In the PDF score you kick over to C string fret 9 and 10 Free Tempo. In your intro piece I think you play at Bar35 E 5, 6, A 4, 5, 7, 8,10, 12 and then Free Tempo down (beautifully). Any reason in particular for the alternate version or have I missed something. Many thanks, Steve B

I am glad you like the low G tuning. I have a new lesson coming soon :)

Amazing low g , i chaned and full in love, if you gonna upload more lesseons of low g im there , thanks

Thanks for suggesting this. I will try to put something together :)

Enjoy :)

Enjoy the lesson :)

Great stuff, Marco! Unrelated, have you ever considered any lessons for Bossa Nova music?

Thank you for the Low G!! It sounds great.

Thanks Marco!

Gerry Schouten

It is pretty common for a minor key to have the chord V changed into a major chord. This is because the major chord creates much more tension between the V and I, making the chord progression more dramatic and minor.

Ok, I wasn’t sure because the piece has an A maj chord and not an Am.

Gerry Schouten

Hi Gerry. We are moving between the A and D minor chords. The V and I degrees of the D minor scale. We are in the key of D minor. The runs at the end, though, are based on the D harmonic minor scale.

Absolutely! More coming soon :)

Hi Marco. What would be the key of the piece ? The scale riff sounds fantastic, how does it fit with the key.

Gerry Schouten

Hey Marco. Thanks for this video. I like this so much. Can you create more videos for the low G please.

Thanks, Ray.

Enjoy Jane.

Thanks a lot, Eva. It is a popular melody so I am sure there are plenty of versions to learn from.

The tuning is different but the strings have the same interval structure so you can play the same chord shapes with both. Of course, on the baritone the chords sound lower.

I am not sure which chord you are referring to.

Thanks John.

Playing Paco on the ukulele ... I am not sure hehe.

Hey Marco, like this very much. Super cool. Cheers.

Hi Marco! I was hoping you would teach this. I'm on it with my low G tenor! Thank you :)

Banjo Jane

Nice version, thank you! I have been practicing another, however this sounds really nice with more variety.

Eva Edmonds

Unfortunetly not((( these software are not compatible

This plays well on my 5 string tenor and the baritone. I think on the baritone it is in a different key, though my drummer’s limited music theory might be wrong about that. “Key” and chords are still a bit of a mystery. How can two completely different sets of notes be the same “chord”? I work on that when my fingers are too tired to keep plucking away.

Interesting. I can open .gp files just fine from another patron that posts them. That's why I'm asking about Marco's files.

Hi Marco - instead of the D minor - I suggest A#7MAJ7 - it is even easier to lift the pointer and the middle finger one after the other - and the ringfinger is already in place.

unfortunately musescore is not compatible with .gp files you need Guitar Pro.

Margaert Shepherd

Hello, help me please. Shouldn't the .gp file be able to open in musescore? I am not able to open the file in that program.

Bravo, Marco!

Hi Marco, would you please provide information in your ukulele.

Beautiful interpretation of the famous Malagueña, and so nice to hear it played on a ukulele with a low G string. Well done Marco! Do you think you could come up with a ukulele version of “Entre dos aguas”? Is it really a Dm that you’re playing or a Bb?

That would be 100% worth it!

Absolutely! It will be up soon:)

Thanks a lot. Enjoy the tutorial, and let me know how it goes :)

Fabulous Marco! I've always wanted to learn this piece of music. It's the perfect excuse to go and buy a new uke with a low G string!

I think the one you wrote yourself, The moon is all I see, is even prettier. Will you be teaching us that please?

Hi Marco. That is so amazing. Thank you!! I'm 'getting on it' immediately!
