Thanks Amelie. Enjoy the lesson :)

It's very beautiful, thanks so much, my favorite so far.

Thanks a lot, Aleksandr. Enjoy the lesson :)

Sorry to hear that, John. With the vaccine, things are much better in Italy. Hopefully, the summer will completely wipe out this horrible virus. Of course, a lockdown feels better with a nice ukulele melody :)

What a pleasure to play your tunes after hard week. Wonderful! Thanks, Marco!

We’ve just entered a snap lock down due to COVID-19 here in Victoria Australia so this beautiful piece is just what I need to pass the hours. As usual Marco, a lovely piece. Thank you!

A very popolar song in Russia in the last century https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGu2N9M-WWw

Thanks

Hi Tal. I am not sure. I put this melody together for this video, but I am not sure if it's from another song. The melody, though, sounds quite popular.

Hi , i like this lesseon very much, this is a cover of a song?

Lovely music. Thank you for giving us different styles.

Enjoy the lesson, John.

Enjoy.

Enjoy the lesson, Ian.

Hi John. You were taught a good lesson. Assigning a finger to each string is one of the most common ways to approach the fingerpicking technique. However, this approach works great with chords. If you use this approach to play a melody, then it means that if the melody is played with six notes on the A string (first string), you will be plucking with the same finger six times? I don't think so. This is why we use the alternate fingering technique. This approach works great for melodies and scales. In the course, we use it to play chords, but consider it just an alternate fingering exercise. So, to recap, when you pluck chords, your rule works beautifully. When you pluck single notes, the alternate fingering works best.

Excellent!!

bad monk

Amazing thank u

Marco!!...this is exactly why I love the music you publish..Thank you once again.

Mario, this is really beautiful! Question for you, I have just taken the fingerpicking course so I trying to keep with the i & m picking style - yet it still doesn't feel natural. I guess when I learned I was told to use a finger for each string, which I naturally go back to. I assume your suggestion will be to stick with it, as this is more of a classical approach. Is that correct? Can you stress, why I should be going this path.

John
