Yes. You can use a 45-degree angle to have a much better plucking. I use a combination of flesh and fingernails, so I don't put my finger under the string before I pluck. Instead, I like to smoothly pluck the string with the left side of the finger. The skin is the first part of the finger that touches the string followed by the fingernail. I hope this helps.

I'm stalking your fingers when you play and it looks to me like you are plucking up from under the string..

Omg I played the entire thing! I wanted to let you know something. I googled how to make your plucking have a fuller sound and your article from your guitar site was the first one at the top of the search engine. I did not put your name in so you should be happy about that. Anyway, in the article about guitars you said to pluck down on the string. Huh? I'm trying to picture that and can't. Lol

Words cannot say how beautiful this piece is! It makes me feel like crying. thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful thing, and for being so kind and patient with your teaching. I also watch your guitar lessons on YouTube because they're chock full of all kinds of tips even though I don't play guitar. Lol
