Everstone Daycare – Credits Opt-in

Howdy everyone!

In the previous demo, I added a credits page to the title screen of the game with my, Spooky, Tennet, and our guest-writer LegsWithSnake’s names on it. I’ve been wanting to credit the Patrons somewhere in the game itself, and now I’ve finally set something up!

It took me a while, but I’ve finally set up a Google Forms for opting-in or out of being credited in-game. Please follow the link here: https://forms.gle/GBkwWxHgm5E2QsYJ9

In the form, I’ll be asking for the following:

• Whether you want to opt-in or out
• Your Patreon username and related email address (which I will be checking vs my Patron list to verify that it’s really you)
• Your preferred display name when being credited, if any (In case you want to be credit under a specific handle)

You can also just send me a private message here on Patreon with the same information (sans the Patreon name and email of course) if you'd rather not go through the Google Forms. It'll thankfully save me the trouble of having to check if you are/have been a Patron.

As mentioned before, I decided on going with an opt-in system because personally, I didn’t want to publicly display anyone’s names without their explicit consent, for the sake of privacy. I’ve worked with enough art commissioners during my time as an artist that preferred to keep their interests out of public view and I would rather not compromise their privacy even here. I apologize for the additional inconvenience as a result of this decision.

Please feel free to opt-in if you’ve ever been a Patron of mine, even if you’re not currently supporting my Patreon. Once you’ve been credited in, your name will be kept up indefinitely, up to until you’ve sent me a request to opt-out request to remove your name from the credits list. Even a single month’s worth of support has helped toward building this game and should be recognized.

Changes to the credits list will be reflected in the next demo after being submitted, and will begin implementation in the next demo after this post has been released (I.E. ver0.12 and onward). If you find that your name hasn’t been added/removed by the next demo after you’ve sent me a message or submitted an entry in the Google Forms above, feel free to send me a message here or on any of my, Spooky, or Tennet’s social media accounts and we’ll make sure to handle any issues.

I’ve never actually done anything with Google Forms before, so if there are any issues with it, or anything you think should be changed with the one we made above, please feel free to mention that below as well!
