Status Update - May 31, 2023

Howdy everyone!

I apologize for the radio silence and lack of posts this month, and the last minute posting of this status update. I’ve gotten addicted to a video game recently, as well as been fighting the slow, agonizing death of my work computer.

The former is self explanatory, but to explain the latter: My PC has been plagued with memory issues these past few months that have really come to a head this month. I’m assuming this is caused by my old, failing motherboard, though I’m still investigating what all part(s) are causing the issue. This has caused me issues ranging from not being able to open SAI2 and TyranoBuilder (or be unable to detect files in my internal hard drive in general), crash my Window Explorer which causes my PC to freeze, hour+ long boot-ups/ shut-downs, and recently, almost not booting up at all.

It’s been a mismanagement of my time, with the time I have allocated to work being mostly spent fixing issues or waiting for my PC to “start working”, leading to not a lot of work being done on my end. I’ll be spending next month fixing these issues (and hopefully buying computer parts that work), and I thank you all in advance for your understanding and cooperation. I will do my best to release the art and other resources for Everstone Daycare that I’ve been working on as I’m able to access and finish them.

I suggest canceling your Patreon subscription to this project while I am currently dealing with these issues if you feel inclined to do so. I’ve evidently not released any of the content I’ve promised In my Patreon tiers this month and would understand if you would rather wait for a demo to be released, as well as the other updates I had planned to make.
