Everstone Daycare - Progress Report (Feb. 21, 2022)

For the most part, I've spent most of this month trying my best to write down a script for the intro section of the game, spanning your introduction into the setting (weaving the introduction of the different mechanics into the story) to when you will first be given free reign to start exploring the facility. Unfortunately, there's not much I can show to visually measure the progress that's been done, so I promise that I'm still hard at work on it!
My intention is to try to get it all done before the month ends so that I can release a demo showcasing this story before the next payment cycle. However, I have been working slower than expected due to this being my first piece of long literature I've written in a long while. I'm currently at 5865 words and counting and hopefully it will reach around double by the time I finish.
The intro will also showcase our first 2 CG scenes, including the scene where you're first sent to the "Baby wing" of the daycare and get diapered by the nurses. Spooky is currently in the process of illustrating those scenes, so please stay tuned!
Again, I apologize for the short progress report this time and the lack of activity recently. I'll try my best to get a demo out by this month!
