Plans For the Remainder of 2021

Howdy everyone! First off, I’d like to thank you all for all the support I’ve received (whether it be Patreon, Itch, or just talking about it on Twitter and anywhere else) in the past day and a half.

As I’ve mentioned before, the first few months of this Patreon will be a big transitional period for me, especially this month of November. I primarily support myself by taking art commissions and YCHs every month or so, and unfortunately this month will have to be no exception. As I’ve only recently started this Patreon, I won’t be able to receive my first payout until the beginning of next month (hopefully). That means I’m not yet able to set aside the time in a month (that your patronage allows me) to work on new projects for this Patreon that I would have otherwise would have spent on commission work.

So given that I’ll be opening for commissions normally this month, I’ll only be able to dedicate a much smaller amount of time to Patreon this November. I intend to dedicate my free time this month on expanding ‘A Night with Mr. Blacke’, using it as a testing ground for features that I plan to include in any future releases such as additional dialogue choices, routes (though I plan to add only 1 new one for now), and implementing a basic options menu if possible. I also plan to include a new set of CGs and a new song, as well as possibly using any unused materials from the current build. My goal is to create an expanded version of ‘A Night with Mr. Blacke’ by the end of the month that I plan to release here on Patreon and on Itch.

December is a bit more of an unfortunate situation. I will be away from my work computer from the 2nd week of December until the end of the 1st week of January, meaning I won’t be able to make any meaningful progress on making art and developing any test builds for the next project. Instead, December will instead be spent developing the character/s and story, beginning work on the music, researching how to implement new features, and sending out polls to Patrons regarding potential elements of the next VN. I hope this is a satisfactory amount of work for everyone to justify continuing to charge for the month of December.

Hopefully when I am able to resume working in January, I’ll be able to get on a consistent schedule and devote my time to this Patreon properly.
