My response will probably be equally as long lol I also have a strong feeling that the group name will have Alpha in it somehow😭 Hoping that it won't tho that would just be way too much sdfhsdkj I commend you for not voting for anyone born after 07, hopefully I'll be able to do the same in the coming weeks when I get to know all the trainees better, cause yeah I really don't want any minors actually in the group fr. The surprise ninth member idea is interesting, but I also doubt that it'll happen. And you just reminded me of the 5-year contract omg that's so much better than the usual 2,5, makes me feel better about getting invested in the debut group. I still don't know how I fully feel about the insta eliminations for the 0 stars. In a way I get it, since last season there were a lot of 0 stars who kinda had no hope of getting better fast and it felt like they were just filling space there. But at the same time we had some really iconic people in the 0 star class who actually did get better, which we won't have this time around then... Thank you for telling me about the accusations, you're right I definitely did want to know about them! It's honestly weird that I hadn't heard anything about them myself yet. I won't comment on all your opinions on the performances otherwise we'd be here all day, but I do love seeing your thoughts! Interesting to see how different our top 8 is as well, I look forward to seeing whether they'll get more similar as the episodes go on :)

I did watch Boys Planet and some other survival shows while they were airing, but this feels different for some reason, like I'm like super locked in. Maybe it's because ZB1 became the first group from a survival show that I watched while airing that actually became my ult afterwards. Either only followed the other groups casually after or lost interest completely. Not that I actually think that the group that comes out of this show will definitely also become my ult tho, I would also totally be fine if not. I did also watch all the PR videos coming into this, really love how they always do that. It is still weird that like 30 PR videos of the Chinese trainees don't have subs until now. It was still entertaining even without the subs though. I think it would also be pretty cool to jump into this while knowing completely nothing. It's kinda funny how they want this group to have alpha energy so bad haha. I doubt that they will get what they want. I just really hope that they don't name them AlphaOne or something. I kinda get you being hypocritical about not wanting trainees that are in a group to debut but also voting for Junseo. For me this is Kangmin and I also barely know VeriVery tbh. I personally will not vote for anyone that was born after 2007 and for now there is only one where I'm kinda sad that I "can't" vote him. Also yes the way that they arranged the Top 8 chairs is awful! I don't hate how it's only 8 members, I would have gladly taken more tho. I saw some people predicting that they might announce a surprise 9th member in the final, but I personally don't think that that will happen. Maybe they also want fewer members because this time they apparently will have a 5-year contract, but who knows? Because X1 was suppose to have 5 years too right? And they had 11 members. Well it's Mnet who know what they think. I don't like how they had so little star categories I feel like 1 - 4 stars would have been better. I don't hate how they immediately eliminate people but I do think it's weird that they just randomly added it. Of course this also makes it worse if you don't agree with a ranking that a mentor gives cause it can possible result in the elimination and not just them having a bad rank. I definitely don't always agree with the rankings they give but ig they definitely are biased even if they try not to be. Btw for your information, thought you might at least want to know: Kim Sihwan (IST, Misfit - NCT U) has been accused of sexual harassment and more a few months back and Kim Geonwoo (Sweat - ZB1) was accused of bullying his former fellow trainees like a day before the episode came out. I won't be talking about them while discussing the performances because of that. I'm interested to see how Mnet will handle it. Now let's go into all of the performances: Misfit - NCT U: They did really good overall but I do am also a bit confused to see Rensho get 3 stars. Like even in the full performance he got like I think no other lines as what we have not only seen. I do really like Arctic, I actually voted for him the first time but than realized that hes "too young" lul. I do actually really like Park Donggyu but yeah they obviously where pushing him. Bang Bang Bang - Big Bang: Overall it was ok ig? Bang Junhyuk was kinda of underwhelming because I too also really liked his PR video. The other two did good tho, I'm just personally not too interested. Boy In Love – BTS: They were really cute and also pretty good just too young. Would love to see them debut in a few years tho. Hip – Mamamoo: Basically the same as the Boy in Love Team but maybe even slightly better. "If I'm S, Can You Be My N? - TWS: Kenshiro was not the best but I actually really like Chuei Liyu for some reason. He is definitely not perfect, but I just still really like him for some reason. I did also really like his PR video too. Candy – Baehyun: Yeah, Park Nuri was not really good but I did really like Lee Yoonchan. Here I Am - Boys Planet: Can't really say much about it, even the full version did not make it much better. The ending being so abrupte was kinda funny tho haha. Say My Name - Boys Planet: We only saw the result in the show for this one. Was kinda sad that they did not make it cause I liked both of their PR videos, mostly the one from Kwon Gyuhyung tho but I get why they got zero stars. Lemonade - NCT 127 and Maverick – TheBoyz: Both of those were completely cut I think. Not too much to say about this performance too. I did kinda like Oh Junho from Lemonde i think and I was confused about the rating for Maverick, did not make sense to me. Vibe – Taeyang: Thanatorn... I do not get why he was eliminated at all. I watched the full version, and only the parts they show in the show are bad everything else is not bad at all, in my opinion. Definitely deserved at least 1 star! Chk Chk Boom – Skz: yeah not really good but at least it was kinda fun. Oh Mymy:7s - TWS: Don' really have much to say about the others but I really really like Hsu Chingyu. He is the one where I'm kinda sad that he is "too young". Atlantis Princess – BoA: Kang Woojin, YES, love him, he is adorable and his voice is gorgeous. His dancing also did not seem too bad at all but I also know nothing about dancing haha. We Must Love – ONF: Like I mentioned I really like Yoo Kangmin for some reason. They all did really well too, just personally not too interested in the others. No Doubt – Enhypen: I am also still conflicted when it comes to Lee Leo. Because in scenarios like that we sadly can never really know if he actually learned from his mistakes or not. I have to say that he did really really well tho, he has a great voice. I actually love Sangwon very much and I say that as someone that knew of Trainee A but did not follow them at all and that was not sure of them until this first episode. My Top 8 rn is: Park Donggyu, Yoo Kangmin, Lee Sangwon, Han Harry June, Kang Woojin, Chuei Liyu, Chung Sanghyeon and Masato. Some of them are only cause of vibes, this might change a lot after ep 2. I too am definitely also biased by visuals even if i don't really want to and ig also just vibes lots of times. I guess I also tend to pick those that have at least a bit screen time. I kinda hate how they edit the performances btw. Especially when it's just cut so short. Cause not everyone will watch the full versions. But yeah they know what they are doing, like of course there is obvious favoritism. You did not come of as overly critical to me btw. I would say that everything you said was valid or I guess just personal preference. Like as long as you are staying respectful, which I think you are, it's all good. It's always interesting to see how different all the peoples opinions are. So excited to see your reaction to the C Planet!
