Tipping Point

Hey, gang. So, I've discovered that there's a bit of a tipping point here in Patreon. That 8-day mark where, if you don't post stuff, folks'll start hitting you up with letters expressing their dissatisfaction. Hey, apologies. Sometimes, life happens. This girl has got a day job, and she's had some family shit to tend to. If the price of a Starbucks once a month is too dear to just roll with it, then that's okay. I'm not being catty here; I actually do understand. But it's your choice, and for those of you who have clicked delete, I wish you the very best of luck. 

Granted, I'm writing this to people who have already cancelled their subscriptions, so they won't be able to read it anyway! The ones who will read it, then, are you guys — the ones who have been loyal enough to stick around, even during the dry spells. I thank you for doing so. I've gotten a lot of support from you, which I appreciate immensely. So many of you have said that you enjoy a sense of authenticity on this page, and it's that feel I want to continue. 

For the short term, here's a token of my appreciation. I hope you like it, and more to come. 

All that being said, I don't think I ever actually committed to any sort of regular schedule on here. It just never occurred to me. I'm still not going to commit to a "once every X days" kinda thing — I think that would remove some of the organic-ness, and given my attention span, it would seem too much like a job to have to keep an eye on the clock like that, and would probably stress me out, which would be against the purpose of this page — but I will say that I intend to be a bit more... regular. Because I get it: is she dead? Where the hell did she go? Is she coming back? Is it worth it? I don't like feeling like that either, so I think we're on the same page.

In fact... I have a couple of surprises/ideas in mind that I might like your input on. I hope it'll be worth your while. Stay tuned.
