When the new EP drops...I will do some more testing and find ways to add the family recipe system to my recipes!
In short - Will have more news after EP release but for now all the mods work.

Try in a new save file. There have been reports of save file being broken after the patch and that caused the crashes and kicking to the main menu.

Can you try with only my mods +/- mccc and ? Also sometimes, updating with the mods in your folders may make the mods corrupt Try in a new save file.
