I'd like to think its to help emphasize the softer side of her character, making her more than the rough and tumble type, adding to her depth

I would love a 4kids season 1 commentary

Aisha is definitely nurturing toward the Pixies in Winx Club, and I hate to be the friend that's too woke, but when you think about it in a broader historical context, it does tap into that stereotype of Black women always being depicted as caretakers. It’s tricky because Winx Club doesn’t have a lot of Black characters, and Aisha’s character arc often revolves around responsibility, emotional labor, and taking care of others—even more than the other Winx girls. It’s great that she’s strong, independent, and athletic, but she’s rarely allowed to be carefree like Stella or as messy as Bloom. She’s always kind of handling things. It’s not inherently bad for her to be nurturing, but it makes you think why she's always the one with children adjacent bonded creatures. It would've been nice to see Aisha with a bonded creature that was more opposing to her personality.
