BIG BANG SUPERSTARS started out as something a bit more poignant. We were working with the idea of super-powerful people warring at the end of the universe over something petty and inconsequential - and I spent hours tying to work out what these star wizards would find valuable that could spur drama and conflict. I ended up with names - I wanted to write about the intimacy of naming another person and being named by someone, the power there, the beauty of it, and...
Nathan left a note on the document saying that he thought this was all well and good but that what he makes is "Loud Gay Trash," and I realised that I had lost my way. So, please enjoy Big Bang Superstars - the loudest, gayest trash I could muster. (I'm sure Nathan has much louder, gayer trash to come that you can look forward to.)

"It was looking at Grant's games that got me into designing games myself, so in some ways, I really wanted to impress him! While the world of Tabletop RPG Actual Play (that's recording TRPG sessions for an audience) has really gained steam in the last few years and there are all sorts of games that have been highlighted that way, not all games are written & designed to be run with Actual Play in mind!
Since I do a lot of Actual Play streaming, it's something that's part of my core design tenets, and i wanted to see if we could find a way to push that here. What's more meta than streaming a TV show where the characters are taking part in a TV show? I really hope you enjoy playing it, and if you do happen to record a session for sure show it to us! We'd love to see it."
