Okay. LORE DUMP:

This fetching fellow used to be a thief/bandit king in a sort of "1001 nights" Arabian mythology setting.

But after a long life of cutthroat banditry and ill repute, he happened upon a djinn bottle, and in his excitement, wished for his youth back, and eternal life... but also wished for the Djinn to be bound to him forever, expecting free wishes for eternity!

Of course, this wish didn't specify who was the "owner" in the bond. Thus he just ended up binding himself to the djinn and becoming basically his "bottle slave," little more than a means by which the djinn can travel the world and see what the mortals have been up to since he was sealed away!.... and of course to sate his supernatural lusts on.

(Also I discovered a new rendering technique while working on this!)
