You probably addressed this a number of times already but here goes: you say that the contemporary and future crisis in profits will lead to an assault on the working class in our countries. I assume that Western companies find themselves squeezed out of various areas in the resource rich countries (Niger and France being an example) but what are the most important reasons for the crisis in profits today? Thanks.

I’d like to hear your thoughts on the composition and revolutionary potential of the contemporary proletariat in the core imperialist countries. When you use the term ‘proletariat,’ do you just mean the whole working class, or rather certain sections of workers? If the latter, then in what industries, what lines of work, is it concentrated? Though there is, of course, a long-term tendency towards the socialization of labor under capitalism, there are also counteracting tendencies. The degree of socialization affects revolutionary potential. For example, the factory system increased socialization, whereas delocalization (arguably) decreases it, at least within the core imperialist countries. Objectively speaking, how do you think the revolutionary potential of the contemporary proletariat, in those countries, compares to that in the heyday of the industrial era?
