Fun bit of insider trivia: Ennek's name was derived from the Dutch/Low German name Anneke. I was in the eighth grade and I'd never heard the name said aloud before, so seeing it in writing as a nickname in The Diary of Anne Frank, I pronounced it in my head as "uh-NECK" instead of what I later learned to be the correct pronunciation of "AH-neh-kuh." My character was first created in 2004 and needing a name, I figured I'd dub her the modified name "Ennek" (pronounced "EH-neck"). Raz's mispronunciation of Ennek's name is a little nod to the source name. And now you know! ^__^
