Who's Kenseth?
Added 2019-08-04 20:18:05 +0000 UTCPage 449 marks the comic debut of Kenseth, Kenzi and Kanti's big sister and Aika's cousin. Who was she? She originally appeared in the 2002 calendar, drawn in 2001, on the verge of being incinerated by a certain red Dragon who looks awfully familiar. This happened approximately six years ago in the story's chronology. Kilani was also present at that battle, and that's where she made a life-altering decision.
Kenseth and Kenzi were originally supposed to be the same character, hence the similar name and the ponytail hairstyle. Prior to the would-be Kenseth's comic debut, I decided to change her name to Kenzi, mainly because she would have otherwise shared a name with then-famous NASCAR driver Matthew Kenseth, which was a complete coincidence. I would've originally chalked up the hairstyle differences to the character simply getting a different haircut at some point, but I later decided to make Kenseth a real character after all and have her be another sister to Kenzi and Kanti. Her absence would be explained by her having died in battle years back.
