I was wracking my brain trying to figure out the blocking for this page as I tried to deduce a way to get Cinder and Kilani from their positions in panel 1 to where they wind up in the final two panels. I started by drawing the ending sequence with Kilani originally facing Cinder in the penultimate panel, but then I was stuck trying to figure out a way to get Kilani to stand up and do that and to also have Cinder approach her. Had she faced Cinder the whole time, the two would've been walking directly toward each other and that would've made the final embrace less of a surprise to both Cinder and the viewer. The simple decision of turning Kilani around in what is now panel 3 finally allowed me to figure out how to bridge the gap in panel 2.
Remember, fellow Draconiacs, the character movements in your favorite comics have to be mapped out. The writer and artist (which are one and the same, in my case) have to take the environment into consideration, and have to figure out how to get characters from point A to point B in a way that makes sense and abides by the rules of the comic's universe.
The more you know! ^__^
