Page 441 WIP 1
Added 2019-04-14 23:29:01 +0000 UTCCharacter pencils are done for page 441. I had to overcome some unexpected writer's block for this scene. I knew what I wanted to have happen, but it took me a while to figure out how to get the ball rolling with it. See, my scripts have very little in the way of stage directions or scene descriptions and instead rely almost entirely on dialogue. Sometimes, writing a new page can be held up because I can't figure out who should speak first or what they should say. In fact, the original concept I had for this scene didn't even involve Pyra, but once I added her in, her gift of gab broke the ice nicely.
Then I had a script drafted, but after rereading it a couple times and playing it out in my head, I decided that it was a bit of a clunker. A subsequent rewrite came out much better and I was finally able to start banging out some artwork.
That last panel will be filled out in the scenery phase. For the moment, though, Kilani and Cinder are wondering how they found themselves in a formless void. ^__^
