2019 Calender - Tiger Trio WIP 1
Added 2018-10-29 18:43:58 +0000 UTCWork on the 2019 "Draconia Chronicles" Calendar continues, and on this go-round, it's a redux of the 2003 calendar debut of Kess, Shie, and Riah as they inadvertently set the wheels in motion for the current storyline by attacking the convoy of Azure, Gold, and Red (before earning the title of "Lady").
Fun facts: the Tiger trio were all designed as random doodles on the same day to experiment with different hairstyles. Shie's hair was designed to be reminiscent of Ryoko from "Tenchi Muyo!" and Riah's hair was designed to resemble Misty from "Pokémon." I've always had a thing for women in bandannas, so I drew an extra Tiger with one on to see how she'd look, and that became Kess. With time, Shie and Riah's hairstyles were tweaked and toned down to make them more practical both to wear and to draw.
