2019 Calendar - Oscura and Kiriad WIP
Added 2018-10-10 00:23:02 +0000 UTCStarting to get into the more complex pieces now. Behold, Her Majesty Queen Oscura and Kiriad, the princess of the Tigers, in a modern reimagining of their appearance in the 2002 calendar. It was the debut calendar appearance for each of them.
If you look closely, you can see the 2D mockups for the throne, and with a bit of Photoshoppery, I can use those to draw the chair with proper perspective. I made extensive use of this technique on the most recent comic page to put together Lady Red's furniture.
Now that I'm six drawings into the 2019 calendar and thus at that halfway point, I'm gonna pause this and get caught up on my Patreon rewards.
