Page 391 WIP 2
Added 2016-05-10 04:25:03 +0000 UTCOkay, I got the pencils done. I mentioned in the last post that the script was in a state of flux, and the lower third of the page has been redone.
Some of you thought I was killing off Ennek on this page, and I can assure you that was not the plan on the previous page. On that page, the plan was to have a rock knock Ennek off of Lady Red, moved by an unseen Dragon. Ennek would be dazed, and possibly knocked out of the fight, but still alive.
From there, page 392 would have revealed Saph as Lady Red's rescuer. As I was drawing the page, I decided that I should go ahead and move Saph's arrival up to this page because I came up with a better plan for her and Ennek.
And those two are so much fun to work with, anyway. I crafted Saph to be a bouncy comic-relief sort, but the original intention behind Ennek was to have her be "the grumpy one" of the Tiger group who gets annoyed at every little thing. And while she's lived up to that on more than one occasion, she also makes the perfect comic foil for Saph.
Could we see more of these two as time goes on? We'll have to see if they survive this encounter first. ~__^
