I apologize for the delay on the page, as I had to go out of town for a few days to attend the funeral and memorial services for a dear departed friend of mine. Though this event in the comic's story had been planned for several months, this coincidence couldn't have lined up much better. Don't worry, I'm not too distraught about my friend's passing, for he lived an amazing life and that's far more important than his untimely passing. He'll be missed, but his memory and legacy lives on, and that's how true immortality is achieved. As such, I had to steel myself for Kenzi's demise, as it's the first death I've depicted since I inherited the writing duties on the comic four years ago, and it wasn't easy to arrive at. I didn't set out to kill anyone, nor was Kenzi ever created for the sole purpose of being the one who "gets it," both of which are sins my former creative partner and I were guilty of back in a bygone era. But she's gone now, and I can think of at least two Tigers who are going to be dealing with the fallout soon. That is, unless Saph claims another victim, or if she herself becomes a victim. We'll find out in January. Because December means it's time for the 2014 Holiday Special! What kind of trouble will Sandy Claws stir up this year?
