Long as the physics are maintained, should be quite the uni-colored page. The rapid compression should make the body look like a water balloon hitting pavement, since the body is mostly water. Except in this case, it's the "chunky salsa effect".

Actually, Kenzi's demise was already in the pipeline even back then. The way I write the story is that I have a bare-bones outline of things that need to happen, and the actual page-by-page stuff is made up as I go. It's a very fluid process, but this here was... *puts on sunglasses* ...written in stone. YEEEEEEEAAAAAH!!

Actually, by my count, Kenzi's the fifth named character who's met an untimely demise since the launch of the comic, and seven if you also include the full pre-comic canon. And trust me, the classic "South Park" line has crossed my mind countless times ever since I conceived this story development. ^__^

OMG!!! They killed Kenzi!? You-- Couldn't resist the set up there. XD But seriously, I'm shocked! Besides her, there were, if I believe, two other OCs that have died that had somewhat of an active role.

My first thought at seeing the tail? Maybe the ground was soft enough to act like a mold, and not crush her enough to kill her, just conform around her. ... Then I remember the panel of Ennek struggling at the crack... yeah, that's not soft ground. x_X Nice work on that panel. I'll definitely miss Kenzi. Thanks! I wanted to remind people that someone's in there. I'm still actually debating whether to include a blood spray.

Quasi-spoiler: Yeah, she's dead, and in the Draconiaverse, it's permanent. It's not something I actively seek, but if a character winds up in a situation where death is a certainty, then I'm not going to deus ex machina them into survival. It's hard for me to let her go, too. ^__^;;

Is she really dead though? If so, then that's the first on-screen death in a loooong time. Poor Kenzi.
