idk if you recognized him but the guy that guided caitlyn to the potion to heal vi was the guy in episode 1 that Vander protected ! Without Vander around ... the weakest had nothing to turn to but shimmer to survive also about heimerdinger getting fired, the council isn't the academy council, it's the city council for piltover and technically zaun too even tho they don't care about the later ! And about why vi is shocked : she was punching people before ... but powder didn't ! last she saw powder, she was a tiny kid doing her best and so full of light, and she's come back to someone who's laughing while murdering people :/ vi only fighted before to protect her family, Jinx is fighting to externalize all of her trauma and it's understandable but shocking when it's your baby sister ! vi has a lot of trauma too from that day, but where jinx had silco to channel it through violence and guns, vi just had to wait in a cell, she was frozen for years and now she has to come to term with the fact that powder isn't powder anymore and it's because of her, and it's heartbreaking
