A year ago, today I met a tremendously talent Japanese manga artist and we became fast friends.

Today, somehow already one year later, I woke up to these messages in my inbox and I can't help but smile. What a fantastic way to start the day.

Her and her husband have helped me with better understanding Japanese, and I have helped them with English. It's been an entirely professional and positive experience, and I hope very soon to see her on her own book.

There are so many nasty or mean-spirited cartoons about me, but it is so nice seeing this side of my personality (the real me) depicted. The above interactions are all things that happened, nearly word for word, and through them I am hoping folks finally start to see the real face of Liam Gray and what I am doing here with Conquest Comics.
